Domaine de Dolomieu - A sober and discreet solution

Light-Filtering Blinds and Acoustic Curtains for Versatile Spaces in a Park Setting

At the heart of the Domaine de Dolomieu park, a newly built contemporary venue was designed to host corporate events, complete with a brasserie, collaborative bubble, and meeting rooms. For these bright spaces, we installed motorized roller blinds with M1 fire-rated screen fabrics selected for their UV protection and contemporary aesthetic. The blinds are seamlessly integrated into ceiling recesses to remain invisible when open. At the bottom, the fabric is neatly sewn around a flat metal load bar to maintain a minimalist look.

Visual comfort is ensured without glare, while preserving views of the surrounding park and swimming pool. The motorized blinds are controlled via remote controls operated by the staff, allowing individual or grouped use by zone. For emergency exit compliance, manual guided systems were installed directly onto the exit doors.

A sober and discreet solution

In the amphitheater, we installed two wave curtains on motorized tracks to provide blackout capability, acoustic performance, and ease of use. The selected blackout fabric offers multiple advantages: extra-wide width to reduce visible seams, a contemporary aesthetic, sound absorption, and M1 fire certification. It creates a smooth, uniform drape while enhancing the cozy ambiance typical of such spaces. The motor can be activated by a push button, and for added protection, it also starts automatically if the curtain is gently pulled by the user.

To create a more intimate feel and visually separate meeting spaces, we also installed manual wave sheers on curtain rods, designed with a double-sided aesthetic. Despite using only a single layer of fabric, the finish is refined on both sides to maintain transparency and elegance.
