Expertise - Tred Distribution
Who are we?

Trusted expertise and network

Tred is a company specialized in the supply and installation of made-to-measure textile curtains and blinds. We operate in corporate headquarters, offices, hotels, retail spaces, public institutions, museums, car dealerships, and public venues, in close collaboration with interior architects, designers, and project owners.
Our expertise combines technical precision, attention to detail, and high aesthetic standards.

Our role is to turn designers’ intentions into concrete, sustainable solutions tailored to each project. With full command of manual and motorized systems—whether curved, recessed, or homeautomation compatible—we design and install textile systems that meet acoustic, lighting, thermal comfort, or privacy needs.

We do not offer standardized solutions: each project is designed to respond to a specific space, purpose, and vision. This is why we prefer to be involved from the early design phase, to anticipate technical requirements (structural reinforcements, electrical provisions, special integrations) and ensure smooth, faithful execution aligned with the original design intent.

Our Story

Enhancing professional areas

Having started in access control and door automation, I later worked in the interior finishing sector before specializing in high-end and luxury curtain and blind automation.
This journey has given me dual expertise: a thorough understanding of the technical constraints of premium building projects, and a deep sensitivity to the aesthetic expectations of architects and interior designers.

In 2018, I founded Tred with a clear conviction: textiles have the power to elevate professional spaces—if integrated from the design phase. Managing light, structuring volumes, improving acoustics, creating atmosphere: these are the functions we translate into custom, technical solutions.

We operate throughout France and occasionally in neighboring countries, working closely with designers to ensure that every curtain or blind system—manual or motorized—blends seamlessly and coherently into the overall project.

We mainly collaborate with architects, designers, and interior architects. Our approach is collaborative: we get involved as early as the design phase to integrate technical and aesthetic requirements, anticipate installation constraints, and offer tailor-made solutions aligned with the designers’ vision.

We mainly work in commercial spaces: offices, meeting rooms, open-plan workspaces, corporate headquarters, auditoriums, and car dealerships. We also discreetly support prestigious private projects such as estates, private mansions, chalets, and castles.

Yes. We work with several high-end manufacturers, allowing us to offer automated curtain and blind systems that are compatible with existing home automation systems. A brief conversation with your automation specialist will help us guide you toward the most suitable solution.

We offer a comprehensive service: site visit, technical advice, textile sourcing, coordination with other contractors on site, system and fabric installation, programming, testing, and – for curtains – on-site steaming. We remain your single point of contact until full commissioning.

No, we don’t work from a fixed list. Each project is unique: we select fabrics based on style, technical constraints, and specific goals. This project-based approach ensures a selection that’s consistent with current trends and the overall design of your space.
